Sanne Wevers (conceived September 17, 1991, in Leeuwarden) is a Dutch imaginative tumbler. At the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, she won the silver award on equalization shaft. She is additionally the 2015 Europeanbronze medalist on uneven bars.

Wevers is six minutes more seasoned than her brotherly twin, Lieke.[3] They are both individuals from the Dutch national aerobatic group and are drilled by their dad, Vincent.

Early life and training

In 1992, Wevers and her family moved to Oldenzaal. When she was 12, she and her sister began preparing with their dad at a neighborhood club in Dronrijp. The family later moved to Twente, and the twins began preparing at Top Gymnastics Eastern Netherlands (Dutch: Topturnen Oost-Nederland). Her folks transformed it into an abnormal state sports office called BosanTON.

In June 2014, she contended at the Dutch Nationals, winning gold on pillar and silver on bars, and putting ninth in the all-around.[23] She then contended at the 2014 European Championships, where the Dutch group completed ninth.[24] At the 2014 World Championships, the Netherlands completed tenth, qualifying a full group to the 2015 World Championships.[25]

In 2015, Wevers contended at the Ljubljana World Cup in April, where a fall on equalization bar handled her in fourth place.[26] At the European Championships, she qualified to the uneven bars and adjust shaft finals. She won a bronze on bars, yet fell on one of her twists on bar and completed her standard well over her distributed 90 seconds. She completed eighth.[27]
