During this time, she also ventured into recording. She released her debut album Yours Truly in 2013. Its lead single “The Way” made it to the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10. Her next album My Everything was more successful. It spawned the songs “Problem”, “Break Free”, “Bang Bang” and “Love Me Harder”. This led to her first ever world tour. The petite actress is only 23. But she already knows the importance of health and fitness. Being a singer and performer, she knows how crucial it is to have the strength to perform greatly. That’s why she allots time and effort to exercise as regularly as possible. Even before, Ariana already has a great perspective about body image. She said once before: “Too many young girls have eating disorders due to low self-esteem and a distorted body image.” She added: “I think it’s so important for girls to love themselves and to treat their bodies respectfully.”

For the actress and singer, eating well, working out, and loving one’s self is the best way to go. She loves working out, hitting the gym when she has time. When she does, she practices elliptical workouts. Being a performer, she also said that dancing rehearsals are like her cardio exercises. Imagine dancing for hours wearing high heels. This really burns a lot of calories. Aside from this, she engages herself in outdoor activities. She loves to hike, play with her dog, and even meditates everyday.
